Academics

Paul, in his letter to the Church in Colossi, writes that: In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. It is from this position of truth and reality that the School’s academic program is given its purpose and reason for existence.
Perry Hall Christian School Academics

PHCS’s overall academic program can be described as a traditional, liberal arts curriculum taught from the context of a Christian worldview. The School’s role as an academic institution is clearly college preparatory, focused on providing students the opportunity to attend the college or university of their choice, or to become fully prepared to enter into another pathway beyond high school if they so choose. Specifically, the purpose of the academic offerings at Perry Hall Christian School is to provide the students with the information, experiences, and guidance required for them to model the mind and life of Christ. Therefore, the School’s offerings have been deliberately selected to address, not only the academic domain, but also the spiritual, emotional, and physical domains as well. This heart, mind and life praxis of faith is not understood from the perspective of the student being composed of those elements in part, but the student is seen as the total embodiment of all three in one.

Graduating seniors are awarded a high school diploma that represents their success in completing an aggressive liberal arts college preparatory program. Beyond the core subjects, students may take physics, anatomy, environmental science, calculus, advanced biology, foreign language, various fine arts and technology electives.
